  Fiddleback Shining Gum Post And Rail Table

  This simple post and rail design has been crafted to showcase the magnificent recycled Shining Gum timber.

  Type of Timber
  35mm Solid Shining Gum timber featuring an absurd amount of “fiddle back” feature.

  Type of Joinery
  Each board used to form the tabletop has been tenoned using a flexible, durable glue. The base has been constructed using floating Mortice & Tenons.

  Finish/Colour
  3 x coats clear lacquer. Hand buffered wax.

  Notes: The table top has been constructed using wide boards of timber. Any gum pockets or veins have been hand filled using a clear resin.

  The Anderson Table

  This simple yet practical design is extremely comfortable to be seated around.
  The solid American Walnut timber top has been made using hand-selected individual boards that have been laminated together using floating tenons, allowing for any seasonal movement, preventing the joins from opening and cracking. The table features a 2mm shadow line above the table base, contributing to its modern design.
  This table has been hand-signed and dated by Christian Cole.
