The Olivia Sideboard
Read moreDesigned in September 2019 by Christian, this magnificent bespoke sideboard/console is not only aesthetically pleasing but extremely functional. It features intricate detailing using thermally modified American White Ash timber giving the timber a burnt appearance. Drawers feature solid timber cutlery divisions, lined with felt. Each drawer features dovetail joinery and is fitted with premium quality Blum drawer runners (fully extendable and soft closing). Each cupboard features a solid timber shelf resting on adjustable solid brass pins. The thermally modified timber has been carefully routered and moulded to the curved finger openings. This detail is also present in the symmetrically angled, solid timber legs.

Mortice and Tenon. Floating tenons. Dovetail joins. Mitre joins.Notes: Thermally modified American White Ash has been burnt in the drying process to acquire a darker colour whilst retaining the timber structural integrity for its’ use in furniture making.
Recycled Messmate Sideboard
Read moreClassically simple in it’s design this piece was constructed to accompany a similarly designed dining table. It features a large amount of storage making it functional as well as aesthetically appealing.

Broad spectrum of woodworking techniques employed to produce this piece. The drawers are Dovetail joined and fitted with Blumotion, self closing, anti slam drawer mechanisms.

3 x coats clear (non-toxc and non-yellowing) Swedish acrylic. (22% gloss). Available in oil finish.
Notes: Messmate is a medium density timber that has an even texture with straight grains.

Read moreDesigned by Christian this mid-century inspired piece features hand made “fossilised’ Red Gum timber handles. Solid timber throughout the timber has been re-purposed from disused Wine Barrels imported from France.
The doors feature floating tenon frames with solid timber panels. Internally solid timber shelving resting on adjustable brass butts.

Birdseye Stringybark Natural Edged Top Sideboard
Read moreTruly a collector’s piece, this unique and highly featured timber was salvaged from a farm in Cann River. The sideboard top features a single piece of timber with exposed natural, hand-sanded edges. Each door panel is a full slab and is fitted with handmade handles inlayed with Ancient Redgum.
