Notes: Single piece (Slab top).
Timber cut on an angle and mitre joined back on itself to allow for the grain to wrap around.

    English Elm Table

    The magnificent timber used to create this table was retrieved from an extremely old Elm tree felled at Croydon High School in Victoria. The 2 45mm thick pieces used in this table top have been book matched or “butterflied” together using floating tenons. The base of this table is a U based steel design that has been powder coated black. The star of this table is obviously the exquisite top which vividly shares the tree’s life!
