The design is extremely simple showcasing the beauty of Western Australian Marri timber.

Mortice and tenon, Mitred edging with floating tenons.
Notes: Constructed using 4 long lengths of timber. The boards have been Mitre joined on an angle creating a “waterfall” effect to accentuate the beauty of the grain. Each join has been tenoned providing optimal strength to the joint and no opening up of the join.

The Juliette
This super practical circular dining table has been designed for optimal seating comfort and the obvious social benefits of being seated around a table. Very traditional in style, this welcoming table has been made using Imported FSC Certified American Oak timber. An intricate parquetry top adds to the grandeur of this table. The base has been constructed using solid sections of American Oak, hand cut on a bandsaw. Christian’s own design. This base design allows for a number of round table top dimensions.
This table is hand signed and dated by Christian.

The Esperance
A fusion of timber and steel this magnificent dining table showcases numerous angles gracefully balancing its’ solid timber top. The base has been made using a template hand-made by Christian Cole. Using this template, one of Melbourne’s most talented steel craftsman meticulously shapes this solid steel base which is then finished using a black charcoal finish.
The oval table top has been crafted using hand-selected imported FSC Certified American Black Walnut. This grade of Walnut is named Select Select due to it’s high quality i.e., The Best of the Best!
This table has been hand-signed and dated by Christian Cole.

U Base Redgum Slab Top Table
The top of this Red Gum timber dining table has been created using a single slab of timber. It was found alongside a river on a farm in Currarong. The U Base design is very practical to sit around, also allowing additional people to be seated at each end.

The Wool Shed Table
If only this timber could talk! Salvaged from the demolished Botany Bay wool washing facilities in Sydney, this majestic Spotted Gum timber is preserved with the lanolin of the wool that had moved through this building during those historical years.

The Stanley
The timber has been retrieved from the Cann River region on the Victorian and New South Wales boarder and is extremely old. Air dried in an old shed for many years this timber is extremely rare because of the abundance of “fiddle back” feature.
Certainly a piece for a true timber lover/or and collector!

35mm Solid Shining Gum timber featuring an absurd amount of “fiddle back” feature.

Each board used to form the tabletop has been tenoned using a flexible, durable glue.

Notes: The table top has been constructed using only two pieces of timber. That is 2 x single slabs have been joined together creating a book matched effect.

The Oval
Designed collaboratively, by the delightful client and Christian, this unique and beautifully simple table will 10 people comfortably. The timber has been hand selected from a large pack of recycled, Stringybark timber retrieved from Southern N.S.W. The curved, arised edges add to the ‘’Lightness “of this design.
